PROMISES

I can't promise you "happy ever after,"
Only to make the most of today.
I can't promise to never get angry,
Only to forgive and move on.
I can't promise everlasting joy,
Only all the happiness I can give.
I can't promise you forever,
Only today, one day at a time.
I can promise never to doubt you.
I can promise my faith and trust.
I can promise never to change you.
I can promise to accept you as you are.
I can promise to cherish our every moment,
And I can promise that tomorrow
I'll love you more than I do today.

A WEDDING PRAYER

Two
Complete and separate
Lives
Came together today
With
A few beautiful words
In a simple ceremony
To form
Life's most precious union.
Take this marriage,
Dear God, Bless it
With Thy Love,
Bestow on it Thy Guidance,
And give these two
The means to keep it strong.

(c) Suzanne Mazer Stewart/Miss Z.

We love you Crystal and wish you and Kevin

all the best that life has to offer.
