Loria was a lover of sports ...

She was very athletic with a competitive spirit.  From a very young age, Loria loved all sports.  From water skiing, to swimming, surfing, snow skiing, ping-pong, bowling, snowboarding, in-line skating or billiards ... she loved them all.  But by far, her favorite sports were soccer and volleyball and she was a member of championship intramural teams for both sports at North Carolina State University.

Loria began bravely diving into swimming pools at a very young age.

She always wanted to be the first to try everything.
